Many tracks need a bigger room, so there is a lot of concurrency around the
rooms. What about offering a website where one  can "preregister" his
interest in the geda session much in advance. With "hard" numbers of people
interested in the dev-room, the organizers are perhaps easier to convince
for the need of the bigger room...
