Stop. It seems the file "version.h" is not generated by ./configure; after running it, there is only a file "version.h.in". You'll find autogen.sh's and configures's output as well as the config.log onpastebin, see links below. I am not able to find serious errors there, though I am not a developer and my knowledge about autotools is not very huge. Perhaps you guys are able to point me into the correct direction, any hint is appreciated.
