You should also post a link here so that we know this mailing list thread corresponds to the same bug. If you were to just post the patch directly to the mailing list, it would probably also get taken care of (this was the normal thing to do back when sourceforge was our bug tracker), but Launchpad is much, much better at keeping track of these things..
