Going into the preferences and changing the board : size to 30000 mil x 10000 mil allows you to see the text. : --> See attached: board-enlarged-to-show-enormous-text.pcb Colin, you're right! I wonder whether the text size is (can be made) visible somewhere in the main window? : I don't know why the text is so large? Maybe your cat took a nap : on the "s" key before you used the text tool to create the : text ... :-) Maybe. I don't know. I have opened the same pcb file on a different computer, and the default text size is sane there. : I looked at the .pcb file (it is really awesome that it : is plain text and human parseable) and saw that the "scale" was : 5744, where a more reasonable scale is about 150 to 250. (This is : percent of default font size, which is about 40 mils.) : : So, I just edited the .pcb file with a text editor and changed the : scale values for the Text entities and then they were displayed. : : --> See attached: board-normal-size-text.pcb Thanks! -Yenya -- | Jan "Yenya" Kasprzak | | GPG: ID 1024/D3498839 Fingerprint 0D99A7FB206605D7 8B35FCDE05B18A5E | | http://www.fi.muni.cz/~kas/ Journal: http://www.fi.muni.cz/~kas/blog/ | Please don't top post and in particular don't attach entire digests to your mail or we'll all soon be using bittorrent to read the list. --Alan Cox
