I've given 304.88 a try same thing. Nouveau driver crashed me had to do a HW reset, pcb runs but nouveau looks like my first vga under DOS and is running in SW rendering mode. Next 310 updates, looks like still nouveau driver. Back to 310 recommended and had to reboot to take effect. OH NO I'm dead, open terminal. sudo apt-get autoremove nvidia* sudo add-apt-repository ppa:xorg-edgers/ppa sudo apt-get install nvidia-319 sudo apt-get update and Driver Manager shows Nvidia 319, all for no result with pcb. I'll have to use the laptop for now.
