I believe that a new alpha/beta version should only be released when known bugs are fixed. This way, each test release is a candidate for the final release. > These builds shouldn't appear on SimTel This is hard to accomplish: DJ's staging area (which includes the alpha and beta directories) is automatically resync'ed with SimTel. If you move the test versions outside the staging area, the only way to get it would be by ftp to DJ's server, which would mean a significant load on the server.
