One more thing: gcc-3.1 should works with binutils-2.11.2 or 2.12, but with these versions one will get weird additional error messages on unresolved references http://gcc.gnu.org/ml/gcc/2002-05/msg01385.html binutils-2.12.1 is recommended, but official port for DJGPP is not yet available. Built binutils-2.12.1 yesterday as usually using cross-compiling from Linux (it's only question of unpacking sources, slightly editting one script and running it. The result is DJGPP binary archive). But such archive is unlikely to be acceptable for DJGPP distribution. I don't have plans to do native build of binutils-2.12.1 now. Andris
