I've pretty much caught up on my todo list (submitted patches, etc),
including this issues:

* dxegen must be build with correct ld for both native, cross, and
  crossed build.

* makefile.oh not rebuilt after make clean?

* cross_build depends on COMSPEC

* libgcc.a not always in djgpp/lib

This version was built with gcc 2.8.1 and binutils 2.9.1, and I did
check for those pesky local symbols (they're gone).
