Thanks for your comments.  However, putting it closer to the beginning
isn't a solution IMHO: too many items would compete for this privilege,
and I don't really know what is the point beyond which most of the people
don't read.  Instead, the next version of the FAQ will have a hypertext
structure and will include an extensive index, so people should look up
their problem in the index instead of browsing the entire FAQ. 

Let's hope this will convince more people out there to use the FAQ first.
