As v2.0 is still in beta, it isn't advisable to install it unless you are 
already pretty familiar with DJGPP.  One of the problems is the lack of 
of docs, as you mention.  There is a small readme.1st file for v2.0 beta, 
but the only *real* README you can get is the README and FAQ for v1.x, in 
the usual places where v1.x is found.  DJGPP.ENV can be found in the 
djdev200-beta2.zip archive.
