I have uploaded that version to sourceware. Please note
that I renamed the files to

    perl-5.6.1-2.tar.bz2
    perl-5.6.1-2-src.tar.bz2

If you announce it on cygwin-announce today or early tomorrow
I will accept the announcement asap. Otherwise that has to
wait until at least Sunday evening.
