I think if you are the same user but different Logon ID, then you are not seeing mounts from the other Logon ID. The only mounts visible to all users must be mounted by user SYSTEM. You need PsExec from https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/sysinternals/downloads/psexec to run mintty.exe as user SYSTEM. Then mount the SMB filesystem, and all users can use it.
