Every single package I ship is built natively(*) on Cygwin -- and hence without specifying build or host -- without any such problems. (Yes, I do provide a Fedora-to-Cygwin cross-compiler toolchain, but that is used primarily by those working on the newlib-cygwin code; I don't use it myself.) Now, can we start discussing whatever specific issue you encountered, rather than being stuck on misconceptions? (*) Obviously my mingw64-* packages aren't "native" but cross-compiled with --build and --host specified, but they too are built on Cygwin, with our mingw64 toolchain. --=20 Yaakov --BV6JhmQFfV8cdGOfCgEDpJu5L5Gxqf67c-- --Cu4sU3It1Nb1CIWTvtEUn1ojfFml04vfK Content-Type: application/pgp-signature; name="signature.asc" Content-Description: OpenPGP digital signature Content-Disposition: attachment; filename="signature.asc" -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- iHQEARECADQWIQRFYAu5jKh4qpenARn/IK+aZu4flAUCWepcwBYceXNlbGtvd2l0 ekBjeWd3aW4uY29tAAoJEP8gr5pm7h+UET4An3mMqdCZuc2k3KliV3fl/Tqmn3OL AJ41ch7kVZbevkyNygzQqeY8rICuAw== =WEyf -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- --Cu4sU3It1Nb1CIWTvtEUn1ojfFml04vfK--
