Almost data which are used with Ghostscript are text file, but Ghostscript is capable to handle binary files, for instance, image files like JPEG and/or PNG. In the case of Cygwin, if these files are read from the directory mounted as text, binary representation of these files are not preserved, this makes image on the rendered page corrupted. Although it works well if the directory is mounted as binary, would you please build Ghostscript with binary mode file operation?
