Web, if mkpasswd can not help you to identify the SID, than you can try Setacl http://setacl.sourceforge.net/ using as: $ SetACL.exe -on $(cygpath -aw YOUR_FILE) -ot file -actn list -lst "f:sddl;= w:o,g,s,d" will provide the full list of SID and ACL of the file=20 or directory. The answer is a bit cryptic but it is very detailed.=20 After that you can create,by hand, the right reference in your=20 /etc/passwd and /etc/group=20 >=20 > >> Do I need to change > >>> the mount options for /cygdrive? > >> Should I assume from the lack of any response that > there is > >> no fix > >> for this? > >>=20 > >> -- Wes Barris > >=20 > > I should say no > > Marco >=20 > -- Wes Barris Marco -- Problem reports: http://cygwin.com/problems.html FAQ: http://cygwin.com/faq/ Documentation: http://cygwin.com/docs.html Unsubscribe info: http://cygwin.com/ml/#unsubscribe-simple
