The standard instructions for any cygwin package are in /usr/share/doc/; but these are just the standard docs that come with whichever package it is, and there are notes specific to the Cygwin port of any given package in /usr/share/doc/Cygwin/.README. So the "standard instructions" is to read /usr/share/doc/Cygwin/openssh.README, and to follow the step-by-step instructions found there (which more-or-less amounts to "Run the ssh-host-config script and let it take care of everything for you"). I think the "Important note for Windows 2003 Server users" right near the start might be relevant to your problem. cheers, DaveK -- Problem reports: http://cygwin.com/problems.html FAQ: http://cygwin.com/faq/ Documentation: http://cygwin.com/docs.html Unsubscribe info: http://cygwin.com/ml/#unsubscribe-simple
