Same pdksh version on 1.7 has no issues with multiple wildcards for me, so something else is going on: $ cd /cyg*/c/Doc*/mjreed/App*/Moz*/Fire*/Pro*/*default $ pwd /cygdrive/c/Documents and Settings/mjreed/Application Data/Mozilla/Firefox/Profiles/c52muy7a.default (Note that I had to use /cygdrive/c in place of /c, though.
