Not a lot of open ports from where I'd like to do this from so my thought was to ssh into whatever box I have listening to on 22, ssh into whatever box I want to talk to from the first box and change the port sshd listens to. Then change the router to point to the box I want. I did a test run today. I tried -HUP with kill thinking that would restart sshd and reread the change in port I made to sshd_config. No joy.
