There is no description of the '-e' switch in mintty's manual page. Is it an "execute-this-command" option? Or, should the user be aware that it is specific to "execute this shell"? 2. There is a '-p / --position' option described in the manual page. Is there a corresponding option for the ~/.minttyrc initialization file? (If so, I could not find a description of it in the manual page for mintty or /usr/share/doc/Cygwin/mintty-0.4.1.README.) 3. When the color of the cursor is changed to a block, the text can be read through the block, but it appears that the text is always white. Can the cursor's (reverse) text color be changed? If a light color is chosen for the cursor block, then the white text within the block is difficult to read. The behavior of xterm in X is that the cursor text is inverted, that is, it is dark if the cursor block is light, and light if the cursor block is dark. 4. Is is possible to view italic fonts (in italicized form) in mintty? I selected Italic and Bold Italic entries from the 'Font Style' list, but could not get mintty to accept/acknowledge those selections. Thanks to the author(s) of mintty for providing it. -- Problem reports: http://cygwin.com/problems.html FAQ: http://cygwin.com/faq/ Documentation: http://cygwin.com/docs.html Unsubscribe info: http://cygwin.com/ml/#unsubscribe-simple
