We have had 2.x running as a service for at least half a year without any problem, using cygrunsrv. But since the upgrade to 3.x when the server is rebooted the service doesn't start anymore. It turns out that the /var/run/rsyncd.pid file does still exist, which prevents the service from starting. We never had this problem with 2.x. When I manually stop the service, the file is deleted. But when I shutdown my machine the file is not deleted. What can we do to solve this problem?
