This is apparently a problem with recent versions of google desktop, and it applies to other cygwin services besides cygserver: http://groups.google.com/group/Google-Desktop_Something-Broken/browse_thread/thread/0dabf807fbdf2d7f# The suggested workaround is to downgrade to an older version of google desktop. Has anyone found a better solution?
