Yes, this links points to the section 6.18 of the faq.
But the section 6.19, contains:

> To build a debugging version of the Cygwin DLL, you will need to follow
the instructions at 
http://cygwin.com/faq/faq-nochunks.html#faq.programming.building-cygwin.

When you click on this link, you are brought back to the section 6.18 !

That's why i think i builded a debug version.
