My cygwin1.dll has the version : 1.5.25-cr-0x5f1, built on 2008-06-12 19:34. I am running the latest available version of XEmacs for cygwin, "21.4 (patch 21) "Educational Television" XEmacs Lucid" of Tuesday, Dec 4 2007 on vzell-de. When I am running functions of xemacs which start external processes (for instance man, ssh, ...), I see often "fork, resource temporarily unavailable". I have a logitech camera, but I have stopped all its processes. In the shell window from which I started xemacs, I see these messages when an external process fails to start from xemacs : 10850 [main] xemacs 7436 child_copy: linked dll data write copy failed, 0x3EB000..0x3EB440, done 0, windows pid 7408, Win32 error 487 I am not too sure what this means. Could this mean that a new build of xemacs would be required so that xemacs still fits together with the rest of cygwin ?
