I'm about to reboot to see if that bit of voodoo helps. > Instructions I found on the web last night, I forget exact URLs, when I had problems with my CPAN under cygwin, were essentially: Close all cygwin windows Get rid of any processes left running if any Go to the Run command window (Eg press Windows+R) type in "C:\cygwin\bin\ash.exe" When the window comes up put in /bin/rebaseall This overcame the main problem with my system, and allowed, after a lot more compiling, to get things working. I found that my Cygwin install had more missing than I thought, and had to add make, gcc, and a few other things (I forget now) so I threw in flex, bison, and a few other dev tools for good measure. You may not be in that position.
