Libgcrypt is a general purpose crypto library based on the code used in GnuPG. What's New =========== * Fixed a bug introduced by 1.3.1 which led to the comsumption of far too much entropy for the intial seeding. * Improved AES performance for CFB and CBC modes. * Removed build problems for the Padlock support. Cygwin Port Notes: ================== * libgcrypt does not use /dev/random anymore but the builtin entropy gatherer for W32 (rndw32.c). Possible security issue, see: http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=CryptGenRandom&oldid=190115987 If you have questions or comments, please send them to the cygwin mailing list at: cygwin AT cygwin DOT com . *** CYGWIN-ANNOUNCE UNSUBSCRIBE INFO *** If you want to unsubscribe from the cygwin-announce mailing list, look at the "List-Unsubscribe: " tag in the email header of this message.
