Seems to be a glitch with the repository, tried by hand using wget, first 2
times failed with "Not Found", the third worked.

Turns out that mirrors.kernel.org returns 2 addresses, the failures came fr=
om
using one address, the other was the success... so it's not a setup problem,
it's a kernel.org problem.
