Development versions are on alpha.gnu.org. You can get patch 2.5.9 from ftp://alpha.gnu.org/gnu/diffutils/. I admit this is confusing, there should be ftp://alpha.gnu.org/gnu/patch/, at least with a readme file. Paul, where will the next stable version appear?
