This is a bad idea for most email lists since it just feeds spammers. This is an important fact to keep in mind. 3. It's also considered bad netiquette to use a thread for a completely different topic. The proper approach to say, ask how to unsubscribe if you can't figure it out, is to send a new message with a descriptive subject to the list.
