If I should direct this question elsewhere, I'll be grateful to learn where. I've searched the web and the FAQs but have not found a specific answer to this specific question. I've also telephoned the commercial inquiry phone number listed on the Red Hat cygwin-related website, but my calls were not returned. I am distributing a bash script to my cutomers and asking them to install cygwin themselves in order to run it. I would naturally expect that to be acceptable. However, to assist them, I am also providing an "AutoIt" script that automates the cygwin download and installation process for them. My interpretation is that this does not constitute "distribution", but I'd like a more authoritative answer. Your response will be gratefully received. Best regards, E.
