According to setup.exe the version of Findutils I have installed is 4.1.7-4. If I create an empty '/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts' directory updatedb runs and creates a locatedb. I see from searching the mailing list archives there have been some other problems with updatedb[0], perhaps this is related. 0. "/usr/bin/find: /foo/.. changed during execution of /usr/bin/find" cheers, -matt (I'm not subscribed to the list, please add direct cc) -- Matt Wilkie -------------------------------------------- Geographic Information, Information Management and Technology, Yukon Department of Environment -------------------------------------------- -- Unsubscribe info: http://cygwin.com/ml/#unsubscribe-simple Bug reporting: http://cygwin.com/bugs.html Documentation: http://cygwin.com/docs.html FAQ: http://cygwin.com/faq/
