Wait until a new snapshot appears on cygwin.com (http://www.cygwin.com/snapshots/). The latest snapshot ,currently, on that page is from July, 1st - It won't fix the problem you have. You have to wait for a newer snapshot. 2. Download cygwin-inst-YYYYMMDD-tar.bz2 3. Extract the archive to temp dir 4.
