That has been my experience as well lately.  mirrors.rcn has been truncating
each file at 980kb.  gd.tuwien can easily keep up with those midwestern USA
v.34 connections.

Just for confirmation, I also just downloaded the latest "setup.exe" and got
these same errors with most of the mirror sites that I tried.  However, I
managed to get "ftp://gd.tuwien.ac.at" to work.
