AFAIK, this requires a current Server version. There was a version which I had running on an obsoleted XP64 beta2 Pro. These use the IVE (P-III hardware emulation mode), so they are quite slow, but still valuable, in the absence of any commercially supported Posix environment. I don't think there is any organized effort in this direction. ----- Original Message ----- From: "David" To: Sent: Saturday, November 10, 2001 8:22 AM Subject: itanium cygwin > Is work being done for a itanium compatible cygwin ? > Thanks > > > -- > Unsubscribe info: http://cygwin.com/ml/#unsubscribe-simple > Bug reporting: http://cygwin.com/bugs.html > Documentation: http://cygwin.com/docs.html > FAQ: http://cygwin.com/faq/ > -- Unsubscribe info: http://cygwin.com/ml/#unsubscribe-simple Bug reporting: http://cygwin.com/bugs.html Documentation: http://cygwin.com/docs.html FAQ: http://cygwin.com/faq/
