When I install I get messages about 'unknown (or supported) file `t'' when trying to install 'strip.exe'. Then there is a message about 'moving directory "c:\cygwin" out of the way' and 'unable to write to file C:/cygwin' These message is then repeated with many different values for `t', including strings of none ASCII characters. It would seem as if the contents of the tar file are corrupt. I have tried uring 3 different mirrors but same error occurs. I am using setup version 2.78.2.9. I am using NT 2K SP 2 with all the latest and greatest updates Any ideas please? Many thanks Christopher Faylor wrote: > I've made a new version of binutils available for download. > To update your installation, click on the "Install Cygwin now" link on > the http://cygwin.com/ web page.
