"Programmer's File Editor" (PFE) is also pretty nice and it's free. It will work with either Unix or Windows file formats. URL I have (which may be old) is http://www.lancs.ac.uk/people/cpaap/pfe If this is no good then you could just try a Search on Altavista or whatever engine you prefer.
