Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit I'm about ready to release VIDE 0.5. I just sent a copy to Mumit so he could check out an NT problem which I hope to solve before I release. It does have a good gdb interface. Essentially, it has a gdb command window open when debugging, so you can use the full capability of gdb. But the common operations are well integrated. The nicest is steping through a program via breakpoints or statement steps and having the source file open and the line highlighted. It is easier to examine variable values as well. I find it a very nice compromise between limiting the features of the debugger because of a limited GUI, but including the GUI features for the basics. I hope to make an release announcement in a few days. In the mean time, you can check out release 0.4, which does have the gdb interface, but doesn't include the many new features I've added in 0.5.
