From: helmut AT isv-gmbh DOT de ("Helmut Ruholl") Subject: BUG: exe made by gcc can't call MS dll V4.2 22 Apr 1997 03:21:12 -0700 Approved: cygnus DOT gnu-win32 AT cygnus DOT com Distribution: cygnus Message-ID: Mime-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: text/plain; charset=ISO-8859-1 Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit Original-To: X-MSMail-Priority: Normal X-Priority: 3 X-Mailer: Microsoft Internet Mail 4.70.1155 Original-Sender: owner-gnu-win32 AT cygnus DOT com Using gcc Beta 17.1 on W95. Can't call MS dll's which are made by newer Versions. (tested with MSVC 4.2). Error Message: "The application failed to initialize properly. Press OK to terminate." Especially there is no hint how to test a MS dll call. It would be nice to have an test MS dll in the package. Have this problem verified with John Cerny (j-cerney1 AT ti DOT com). Dlls generate by MSVC V2.0 are callable. Regards .................................................................
