I understand that maybe setup.exe and setup.ini are on the CD and AFAIK
setup.exe needs to modify setup.ini, so maybe this crashes the
installation. Try copying setup.exe on local drive, choose install from
local archive, and select <cdrom>:/whatever_folder_is

Maybe this works ;)
