$ ls -l
will tell you that they are
-rwxrwxrwx    1 gerrit   Domänen-     1017 Jul 24 23:34 reporter.pl*
^^^^^^^^^^^ all executables are                      ^^^^^^^yellow.

So, if you set the permissions correct, e.g. to archives:
-r--r--r--
archives will be red,
.c files:
-rw-rw-rw-
will be cyan and so on.
