Hi daniel,

there is a binary at http://cygutils.netpedia.net

But: in this weeks, the trial-version of perl5.6.1 is tested, so in 
about four weeks (or so), a new version of perl will be available and 
maybe, then it will be included?

I hope so.

But it is also possible to build perl on cygwin, just get the sources, 
and try (look the hint at cygutils-page)
