You could always try a recent snapshot. The recent snapshots are what will become release B21. Binary compatibility still exists so it should be farely easy to try it. Download the cygwin-inst-YYYYMMDD.tar.gz file and read the winsup/ChangeLog to review the changes made before replacing your current cygwin1.dll.
