My installation exhibits that same problems as yours.
bash$ cd /
bash$ mount
Device           Directory           Type        Flags
E:\cygnus        /cygnus             native      text!=binary
C:               /                   native      text!=binary
bash$ find / -name bash.exe
find: /cygnus/cygwin-b20: No such file or directory
bash$
