Subject: B20: bash: problem placing command output into a variable
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii
Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit

Whenever I place the output of a command into a variable (myvar=`ls`), I
get control-M's in the variable. Is there anyway
around this or is a bug with bash.

thanks,
- Scott
