Hey, why do you set your message up so as to be unquotable?  Comments made
previously on this list indicate that at least make-3.77 will be adopted.
Meanwhile, I've had some success working with combinations of make-3.77 and
bash (rather than ash) working as /bin/sh.  The latest snapshot patch to
cygwin helps with the W95 problem "vfork: no more processes" although it has
other incompatibilities with cygwin-b20.1.
