I'm really not sure the syntax is totally correct, but I have difficulty
with this aspect.
Vis:

$ mount
Device           Directory           Type        Flags
D:               /var                native      text=binary
C:               /                   native      text=binary
$ ln /var/temp /tmp
ln: /var/temp: hard link not allowed for directory
$ ln /cygnus /tmp
ln: /cygnus: hard link not allowed for directory
$ ln -d /var/temp /tmp
ln: cannot create hard link `/tmp' to `/var/temp': Permission denied
$ ln -F /var/temp /tmp
ln: cannot create hard link `/tmp' to `/var/temp': Permission denied

This'll have to do..
$ mount -b D:\\temp /tmp

$ ls / | grep tmp
$
