  Hello!

1st problem:
I'm trying to use 'gcc -pipe' on beta 18 to compile sources,
and it dies silently. Is this a side-effect of gcc's spawn()ing instead
of fork()ing subprocesses? Or am I missing something?

PS: Is there any way of getting patches from beta 17.1
    to beta 18 source tree?
