If a piece of code includes getsockopt() or setsockopt() and the
program is linked with libcygwin.a, the compile always fails with
"undefined reference" , even though these routines are in the
library. (this includes when they are mapped to cygwin_getsockopt()
etc).

This problem has been discussed before, but I do not remember seeing
a definitive response (if someone has one).

Any help/clarification would be requested.

Regards

Mark
