I know this has been mentioned before, but has anyone solved this problem? It makes even very simple progams such as the following fail: #include main() { char buf[80] = ""; cout << "Enter a line:"; cin.getline(buf, 80, '\n'); cout << "You wrote: " << buf << endl; return 0; } This works right under csh and command.com, but fails under gnu-win32 bash. Anyone have a bash binary that doesn't output this unwanted line-feed?
