C++ is not C. I presume the people that have sucessfully linked/mixed
code have done it with C code.
Because of name mangling, C++ compilers are completely incompatible.
This is progress.
We have a fatter language, and we have lost all portability even with
compilers of the same language in the same machine and same environment.
This is C++: progress.
