The system: Windows 95, P-133, 32M RAM

An attempt to read or write from the /dev/null causes the following message
(apparently from within cygwin.dll) and the error return:

bash$ cat </dev/null
COPY FOR DUP FAILED, handle in FFFFFFFF 6!!
SH.EXE: /dev/null: Bad file number
bash$
